Ouch. That is a really accurate description of the rip my friend got caught in. BTW, he's a minister, and when finally made it to the beach, he fell to his knees and prayed. I've never seem him do that before or since. A few months later, I asked him what he was praying about. He said he was thankful for having been reminded of how powerless we are.
