Well, OK. That makes it all pretty clear. Personally, I'm a little frustrated at the lack of collective memory of Iran '78 and what that did to the world economy. Stability is in our interest, and in general seems a somewhat more realistic goal than either reforming mideast governments or economically detaching ourselves from the region. OBL & co. want to blow the lid off Saudi, I don't think we should be helping them.
