Yes-That was at the dawn of the Biotech stocks. Back then, Damon even owned ESTES model rockets, and HI Flyer kites. Microencapsulation-I believe was the Damon patented process. I just owned the parent, and even made some good returns on it. They didn't spin it off (Damon Biotech) as I remember, but sold shares in an offering while retaining an interest. National Patent & Flow General were anothers with Interferon. I owned some of each. NPD spun off many things. I believe Interferon Sciences spin-off went under? I'm not sure what happened to Flow.
