Hi!!

RE: Was in Russia in August and was surprised at the amount of concern they showed over islamic fundamentalism. A professor told me that our two countries had much in common on this issue. Now I know why they were so preoccupied with this issue.

Amazin' how sincere Putin appears...The Chinese likewise...Even going as far as to ask the North Koreans to join the coalition...Hey, let's face it...Terrorism is not something anyone is proud to harbor...Gonna be interesting though when the Taliban is toast...Who's next?

Best, Kemble

Re: al Qaeda in Europe...

"In the past we had seen some links to Afghanistan, but we saw them as more or less acting here without close connections to al Qaeda," said a senior German intelligence official. "Now we are seeing more and more links between cells and to al Qaeda. We are rethinking everything."

"Before September 11, we had no idea of the depth of the problem," added a senior Italian official.
