Rumsfeld was in Missouri yesterday and a reporter asked him about CNN. He replied that he was plucky but not stupid!

My sense is that if ObL responds, CNN will try to "massage" his response in some way to avoid the appearance of conveying any secret messages.

A more significant issue will likely arise over CNN reporting that could provide timely info to the enemy about US military activities. Does the US have the authority to suppress such reporting? If so, will it use it?
