OK...we can agree to disagree...

As an ethnic woman in her 30s at an executive management position in IT arena....the place was a hell full of racists and sexists...and ageist......but again, those were MY experiences. Their idea of a manager is a white male over 50 !!!! I changed 4 jobs there, they had the same problems, everywhere....so decided to bolt from the country.....and mind you, we've never had job related problems anywhere else in the world...not even in the Middle East where I worked as a very senior executive in a Arab dominated company....

The redneck Pauline Hanson got 25% of the votes in Queensland with her electoral pledge that she would get rid of the Asians in Australia. Thats serious.

No matter how you calculate it, it still means that 1 in every 4 people in Queensland is a racist.

My experiences were awful in Australia.....couldn't wait to get outta that place...but that may have been an isolated case. Possible...quite possible.

It is SILLY to still have the queen as the head, by any standards...it is stupid and idiotic and the world know it ! Thats why they wanna be republic...

:-)
