I just don't like the thought of the people left who are not Taliban who can't get to food. I'm talking ideals here, to be able to secure the country enough by winter to have supplies in place, and continue the hunt for BinLadin and other Taliban holding out, if they aren't already done by then. I know that's an ideal.

I have gathered winter is difficult but not something that would stop our special forces or those that join us.

If enough of the country was secured that we could drop leaflets telling everyone to go to those areas, that's a possibility. "Get out of the area, and we'll tell you when it's safe to return". Then it'd just be our forces against them on the rest of it. And no one starving. Except maybe for some goats with anthrax.

Just thinking big here. <g>
