Never had a pair of $100 Nike's and never understood why anyone "needed" them either. I probably don't need as many clothes as I have, but I don't look at buying an appliance the same as food and clothing.

The only thing I buy that I don't "need" is entertainment related.

But what is money for? It's to enjoy.

I still won't be buying a new computer. I don't need it and it's not something that brings enjoyment. What I have is sufficient.

Now, if there were some new software that wouldn't run on my system that I really WANTED (or needed for that matter), then I'd be the first to go out and buy a system. I don't see that happening for quite some time.
