People don't appreciate good hyperbole anymore. Are we becoming as humorless as liberals?

We should also remember that that was the first column she wrote after losing her good friend Barbara Olson.

Our opponents this time are at least as ruthless, but the reason we don't need to use terror bombing (which is nearly ineffective, militarily) is that unlike WW2, this time we have a huge military advantage.

Terror is the refuge of the weak. We probably could have avoided it in WW2, but we didn't know that at the time.
