All right, Tony, I'll pay a little attention to you. Six weeks ago would have made the date September 10.

What's the Engel post you're talking about? I'll have a look.

If He'd posted it prior to August 29th when Rob Herb said flash revenue would be down $100M Q/Q I'd have been more interested.

But lets see it.

Link, please? My memory tells me that he was off by as much as tens of millions of dollars, but I could be incorrect.

Ninety percent of your posts that I've read have been inaccurate and juvenile for the past week or so. This is really getting annoying.

A) There are *plenty* of people bearish on AMD at this thread. You just don't see that, because these people don't go around insulting others.
B) Paul's predictions are only on the money when AMD posts losses. Prior to when AMD posts profits, Paul predicts losses for AMD. This is no worse than somebody like Niceguy, who is always posting predictions of AMD profits. Just because AMD happens to be in a direction that aligns with Paul's usually inaccurate predictions doesn't mean that he is Nostradamus.
C) Paul's posts are consistently trolls, often offensive and almost always written to anger others. He does not bring any balance to this thread. On the contrary, he polarizes people who would otherwise be moderates against him, causing people to become incoherent and often unreasonable.
D) Your insinuation that the entire thread acts with one mind is stupid and narrow (and mildly insulting on a personal level).
E) I and many others would prefer it if you could contribute to this thread instead of constantly attacking nonexistent ghosts. You can feel free to express your opinion here. But it is *really* annoying when your ONLY opinion, which gets posted CONTINUOUSLY, is something along the lines of "I don't like how this thread doesn't let us express our opinions!".

Tony, You said <Paul made an on the money prediction (for the operations part) about 6 weeks ago. Amazing that you guys would ban the most accurate predictor seen in these parts, ever. Fear of the truth, I guess.>

I did a quick scan from September 1 to September 11. IIRC Paul went missing for a while after 9/11. Happy Days!

The following are the posts I saw from him WRT AMD earnings.

============================

Re: "speaking of predictions, what are yours regarding Intel and AMD EPS numbers for this quarter?"

I think it is safe to say that AMD will HAVE NO EARNINGS per share this quarter.

AMD will have LOSSES PER SHARE - a return to their "roots".

Message 16318154
Re: "". Analysts have an average expectation of $0.10 for Intel, and -$0.10 for AMD. Do these sound right to you?"

They are probably close enough - the positive (Intel) and negative (AMD) are the key points.

Message 16318169
Re: "Pro Forma, or the real earnings they file with the SEC? "

As long as Intel pays taxes, they are making a profit.

AMD, on the other hand, won't be paying any taxes this quarter.

========================

Now which of these *WONDERFUL* posts, that I had blocked at the time, do you think were worth reading.

Where's that $100M post you're talking about. Not the one Rob Herb announced on August 27, but the one you said *YOUR HERO* Paul posted around 6 weeks ago?

The one you seem to think makes reading his *CRAP* worthwhile.
