My memory tells me that he was off by as much as tens of millions of dollars, but I could be incorrect He posted that AMD would lose $80 million (from operations), actually a little low as it turns out, when the consensus was still "just" $25 million or so. I'm not going to search for the particular post, but the heavy duty posters here know he did, and when. This is the second quarter he's done this, which no-one else has come close to for accuracy on any thread I read in any message board. Ninety percent of your posts that I've read have been inaccurate and juvenile for the past week or so. This is really getting annoying. A) There are *plenty* of people bearish on AMD at this thread. You just don't see that, because these people don't go around insulting others. I don't think so. 90% of the posts I read here would make you think that AMD has the best products in the world and that one should get rich on their stock. I'm providing some balance to that, which nobody seems to want to hear. We have extremely anti-Intel posters over on the Intel thread (you know who they are). What, are you trying to make this thread pristine and pure AMD love, or something? . In the meanwhile, this thread doesn't belong to anyone, and all styles of posting are legit as long as they meet Mani's rule. Finally, who made you backup monitor anyway. Edit, BTW, here's the wonderfully cheerful, let's coexist peacefully line I responded to:It's worse than I thought for <red>Itanium!</red>biz.yahoo.com Macromedia JRun 3.1 Gains Compatibility With Intel Itanium Processor It's dated today! JRun wouldn't run on Itanium -- in emulation even -- and they *JUST* got it to!! Yikes -- even I didn't think things were that bad!
