Win 98 was a patch for Win 95.

Our company is large and we're not planning on buying new computers. We see no need and have many systems sitting around. Their previous "owners" have been laid off. Until we see headcount return (which will be quite a while), we won't be spending on new computers. We have other things that have higher priorities. I look for our company to possibly buy a few new systems in late 2003. Employees will probably buy the old systems at an employee sale.

My wife's company is not buying either. In fact they may donate systems to a school before year end for a tax deduction. Headcount is not going to return at her company so I don't see it as a problem.
