I think your comments about the FADG thread are off line. I see no censorship happening there, merely a call to be civil.

IMO you get a bit bent out of shape in your discussions there, but you are not alone as a number of others who have viewpoints in all areas of the political / religious spectrum have also been shut down.

So far, with the minor exception of bolding and italic preferences [ ;) ], the moderator has shown pretty decent restraint and judgement in what is obviously a highly charged subject.

And it is, after all, a foreign affairs thread, not which deity is better than another thread.

You're outta your mind
Relax, take a Cipro

The FADG thread has an excellent collection of readers, and even a good group of posters from time to time.

I would have liked to see your continued participation, until I saw this intentional bit of misinformation.

I don't agree, Count; I support Israel pretty regularly on the thread, and I don't feel shouted down.

There is far more to the Israeli/Arab conflict than meets the casual eye at first glance... we already know the bulk of financing for Bin Laden's network comes from the ultra-conservative Wahabi clan of Saudi Arabia... we also know the relations between the Wahabis and the Royal Family have been cemented through marriage many times during the past one hundred years... and we know that following the thread of radical Islamic terrorism back to its ultimate sources will place us head-to-head against the rulers of Saudi Arabia... at that point, a prior formal declaration of war would require us to insist the Saudi government hand over some of its highest ranking members to United States justice.....

Wahabi defined:

Puritanical Saudi Islamic sect founded by Muhammad ibn-Abd-al-Wahab (1703–1792), which regards all other sects as heretical. By the early 20th century it had spread throughout the Arabian peninsula; it still remains the official ideology of the Saudi Arabian kingdom.
