Unions are formed based on the assumption that those who have will screw those who do not. In all things there are good and bad people. Overall America is a land of opportunity and today I see Unions mostly providing slacker protection over leveling the playing to prevent the few who would screw from screwing. Unions also into protecting job numbers. This leads to creating rules that interfere with flexible use of workers and just increase the cost of doing business. There is competition for good workers and it very unclear to me the value of any union today. tom watson tosiwmee
