It does not sell and you will have to make an effort.. Moderates are not likely to March on the street.. That is why they are moderate.. If you are smart, you are not going to be in a march where thousands could turn up and there is always a chance of violence.. Don't forget, law and order is something we take for granted here but over there different perspective.. It is easier to find the rampaging crowd and they make compelling TV for sure.. Place like Karachi, it is very easy to whip up a crowd.. On any topic and any situation.. Also these folks are confined to where they can march and protest (as one of my previous links on column in Dawn suggested) so easier to find them from TV news point of view.. But not so easy to whip up enthusiasm amongst the educated and well to do to march.. But there have been some marches supporting the Govt.. As for moderates, I think I saw only one attempt by CNN 2-3 weeks to show them.. CNN basically found a concert of some pop singer and a lot of young men and women in their 20s or so and did some interviews.. I don't think they are worried about being single out but think of it this way.. If you are well known personality or businessman, you will keep a low profile because don't forget there are nuts with bombs and guns running around there who have no compulsion to shoot and kill in even in mosques.. People have been kidnapped for ransom etc. in the past.. Are they Pakistanis, Afghanis or as some claim Indian agents trying to create chaos.. Who knows.. FWIW..
