stan - AFAIK scaling back in precious metals would be less risky in silver. Scarcity of silver, paired with manufacturing processes needing silver would keep this one in a pure supply/demand scheme.
There is too much buzz around gold currently. I am waiting $200 to re-evaluate. Whereas $4 for silver looks like a good entry as any.
IMHO, gold could in panic, make $1000 and silver $50, that is 4 against 12 in return.
But I could be wrong as always.
