John, Re: "Call it a tie, get on to something significant."

Impossible. Without holding on to the hope that AMD is gaining market share every quarter, the AMDroids have nothing else to hang on to.

How would you feel if your investment was delaying new products, posting huge losses, and losing market share to the competition?

John,

You can't count [Intel chips in X-box] if you are talking PC processor share.

Why not? What is the definition of a "personal computer"?

Let me provide a definition of a Personal Computer...

A PC provides input, output and data-manipulation processes.

The x-box provides input, output and data-manipulation processes.

Hence an Xbox is, in fact, a personal computer.

The whole market share/X-box debate is semantics.

Call it a tie, get on to something significant.

Finally, the voice of reason!! I hate this market share debate since it really does not matter in the long run.

I wish someone would provide some information on Intel's new/existing products in networking and communications. And how Intel's strategy of establishing architectures in this space is working.
