The x-box provides input, output and data-manipulation processes.

Hence an Xbox is, in fact, a personal computer.


Calculators, NC machines and a myriad of other special purpose gizmos do those, abacus kind of also. Are they PCs?

I don't want to waste too much time on this argument. In the most literal sense, you could say a pencil and a piece of paper can be used for personal computing, therefor they are a PC. If you want to believe that an X-box is a PC, it's OK with me. But if you asked 100 average folks, 99 would say that X-box is a game machine, not a PC. So I'll go with the popular definition.
