TG, Isn't it about the most flipped out thing you've ever seen? Or maybe it's me, but from where I sit INTCs getting ready to suicide by end of lifing the P-III lines(Yeah, I know, they're really just renaming it Celeron) and pushing the PIV and IA-64.

Like lemmings to the cliff.

I just put up a post a little earlier saying that P4 sales quadrupled in Q3, from Q2, and you go and post something like that. Ever think that that's kind of like "asking for it"?

Is intel going to leave the same 256 L2 cache activated on the P-III when they call it the Celeron? Or still zap half of it?

TGPTNDR
and when you post here is Tony with a comments about quadrupling :-)) It makes very little difference to Tony that after quadrupling Intel is selling the same number of p4s as amd athlons. And, of course, intel is undervalued and amd is overvalued based on that wonderful "quadrupling".
P4 is criticized for its performance so Intel told at mpf (as per one of the posts few days back) that amd's increase in performance would not be as good as Intel's when shrank to .13 um.
Hmmm.....
specualation without base - is that like gaining few percentage points in market share each quarter over the last 3 quarters adding to intel's loss of market share. (before Tony blows let me say that last quarter Intel managed to gain .7%) <ggggg> And Paul is making fun of q-speed here :-))
