"...Cherokees, Welshmen, and the Scottish suddenly find themselves on the DOD blacklist."

Cherokees, Welshmen, and the Scottish already have their own parliament??

The cherokee constitution is even smarter than many??

I'm not that sure about the Cherokee, but try to follow the welsh and scots.

Both the latter have pretty interesting democratic system.

Nice response, Hawk.

Small correction: Israel has six million citizens, about 80% of whom are Jewish.

Palestinian Arabs have lived under Persian, Turkish, British etc. rule for centuries. Are they on record as liking that situation? Israel is a democracy for Jewish people but not for Arabs. Of course they treat Arabs living there better than Jewish people are treated in Arab countries but that's not relevant to the matter which is that every one of the Arab countries objected to the founding of Israel and the UN chose to ignore that even though it was spelled out to the UN that that the carving away of a piece of Palestine to become Israel meant war. It might be politically impossible to abolish Israel by welcoming emigration of Israelis to western countries but at a minimum the Oslo agreements should be enforced on both sides by outsiders.
