The government has been totally inept in this whole thing. We knew that there was anthrax years ago. It should have been recommended that we have anthrax detectors installed in every post office in the nation

By the time it gets to the post office it there could be few spores left in the local drop off mail box as well as the truck that collects from drop off points. That opens up a whole new door to the world of exposure and a whole new system for handling mail.

Welcome to the what ever we do it is going to cost more era as jit goes out the door.

Even though I believe it is now 5 I agree the percentage risk is so slight as to be near meaningless BUT how many others were exposed to the skin based version? Could there be others exposed to that slower acting version which won't get treatment - in time?
