Both the Clinton and Bush regimes have actively attempted to suppress the media in the Middle East, as part of their long running strategy of undermining democracy and self-determination in oil-producing countries. You are a never-ending source of amusement, I must say. Big, bad Washington has ordered all the Arab countries to control their presses? They didn't think of this on their own? Bush asked Al-Jazeera to tone down its coverage, which makes the NY Post look intellectual and balanced, and this is suppressing democracy? They refused, of course, as they were perfectly free to. Don't tell me, I know the Chomsky answer -- everything wrong in the world is America's fault, unless it happens to be Israel's. Do you know how similar you guys sound to Bin Laden?

Hmmm!? I think that Arafat actually used force and killed some of the demonstrators. Of course, that is OK. Murder is OK, with the Palestinians, as long as they do the killing. Or perhaps, you mean when the Palestinian Authority forcefully stopped the news from covering all the celebrations in Gaza, over their victory on Sept 11th, against America. America has leaned over backwards to ignore the constant acts of terror, committed by the Palestinians against Israel. America has tried to force Israel to give up land and security, to the Palestinians. How do these treacherous Palestinians reward America? They dance and party after thousands of Americans are murdered in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Americans should never forget this act of treachery by the Palestinians. Or course, Israel is used to the depraved and demented nature of the Palestinians.
