Well, Searle, if your real beef is how hypocritical the US was for inflicting the ANC gov. on SA only a half generation after blacks could finally sit any damn where they pleased on a bus in the US, you have a point. Keep in mind when Reagan was president both the house and senate were substantially controled by leftists.

I remember going to a church conference back then and they actually had a booth where they were taking signatures in favor of boycotting South African products and investments because of its racial policies. I told the lady at the booth that if we don't buy from SA, a lot of blacks will lose what decent jobs they had and that US companies such as Kelloggs actually pay black workers more so why ask them to leave. She was dumbfounded. These kind of people don't think that far ahead.
