INTEL SAYS DDR UNSTABLE --from your favorite rag-the inquirer www.theinquirer.net/24100101.htm .
intel says ddr unstable and has compatability problems. sony chose rdram for that very reason. rocky

Hi techreports; Thanks for the history lesson on CDMA, I hope it makes you more comfortable with your RMBS, but I don't see what one has to do with the other. Maybe it would make sense if QCOM's management were running RMBS as well, or if Rambus had the same technology as CDMA, but for a different part of the world.

Hi Bilow, if it makes you more comfortable to totally ignore what i was trying to say then that's your thing. I don't think I was implying that just cause Qualcomm and CDMA proved everyone wrong that Rambus and RDRAM will too. But rather that those doctors of engineering were wrong, wrong, wrong about CDMA. Maybe it was because they had vested interest in seeing CDMA fail & GSM win? Kinda the same as those engineers at Micron, VIA, and AMD want to see RDRAM fail and DDR win? Maybe?

I'm not fooled by these open committee organizations like JEDEC. The only reason they are formed is to protect the memory companies. Nokia, Ericsson, and Motorola as well as the other GSM European companies are only interested in pushing GSM and their patents. This keeps the Asian companies at bay.

P.S. Sorry for calling you a "loser" in a somewhat manic post a few weeks ago. I just went back over our correspondence and was reminded that you've always been polite to me. I get "techreports" confused in my mind with "techfuture" who used to give me constant BS.

hmm...well, i forgive ya. I was always wondering why you'd bash me so hard for being a RMBS moron when I have at times in the past complimented you.

take it easy..
