It might not be so important to rehash this period of our history if Bush did not insist on acting like all of America voted for him. How very silly you are indeed.... The point is that now that Bush is showing his true stuff most of America IS VOTING FOR HIM today. He is our leader in a war on terrorism attacking us at home. Any negatives to be thrown up there are merely backbiting and redundant. Not that we should fear the results but let's put that sort of thing on the back burner - something for historians to mull over. We've got far more critical things to take care of on our plate now. Let's just say that America got lucky and the right guy was on hand when we needed him - just like Harry Truman was the right guy who most of his peers had a low opinion of during his years in the Senate and nobody in the nation knew who he was when Roosevelt chose him for vice president.
