I was doubtful, not incredulous, only from the logistics point of view.

What the McNabb Brothers said was for a professional and complete cremation which I believe is mandatory, by law, and which is relatively time-consuming????

As the Nazis were in a great hurry, it seemed arguable they could have done so many complete cremations in the timespan available to them.

As we do not know the details and the specifics, e.g., what fuel was used, resources actually available and the number of personnel available to do their heinous work and documentary evidence (photographic and otherwise), it will ever remain moot to some folks as to how many were cremated.
And that is human nature! Yea, a person convinced against his/her will is of the same opinion still! This applies to all!

I hope this discussion is now closed.

Zeev,

Lets ask Chatters to address a "what is" rather than a "what if."

Rather than us over 50 years of age folks decide
"what is[past events]" from "what if[in the past]"(s)
lets project the future from what is today.

Let Chatters project what the youth of the superpower America
has as its seeds being sowed that in a short time period these
teenagers in highschool, and freshmen & women in colleges have
as reading material in their history books using the specific period
the second world war that has been discussed in depth these
last few days.

To that saying that the errors of the past will be duplicated
in the future unless we learn from them, then let Chatters
who i think is a Canadian, venture into the mainstream usa
public school system and display what is taught about this subject.

Chatters did say that he understands, as follows.

But first an interrupt, as the proper place for your comments
would be after the cut & paste of Chatter's post, i will place
them before and include my commant, which should also be
placed after. This for the same reason as i have many times
stated about Chatter's, that if he would only stop doing what
appears to be a o49r/gold_tutor "me me me approach" when
posting information for a discussion, that then his desire to be
viewed as knowledgeable and wise and "all things knowing"
would not corrupt and destroy the good things he has to report.

But until Bell Freezes Over (or) o49r/gold_tutor discards her me me me,
then so be it and Chatter's ability to supply good stuff will continue
to be dragged down into the gutter with his me me me.

This is to me where the importance of this discussion is at,
as in what is required for us grown-ups that control what is
written in the text books decide what explaination is given
vis the teachings in highschool & colleges so that the next
generation that in 30 years will include no one with a direct
connection to the second world war. How to teach mistakes
of the past made in WWII so that they can be taught and learned
so that awareness and preventive steps taken to prevent these
same mistakes from having history repeat itself, be it on another
race group tribe etc.

... and the sins of silence and appeasement of the rest
of the world prior to the eruption of WWII. Zeev

So, Chatters says below he understands.

ok Chatters, does this understand as you know it and acknowledge
as the best way to prevent more evil doings, is it being taught
to the youth in mainstream usa schools etc so that the next
generation of adults can prevent more errrors of the past?

When the evil behind the horor is not identified, then those who
wish for this evil to be showned have not the understanding channel
available, then the horror is used as in numbers and degress
and scope of hurt and pain. Better to understand than to shock
as most take shock treatments as undesireable. I have heard
that a building in Israel has pictures of the horror, which will shock,
but unless the evil is understood that created these events that
we are able to present as pictures are knowned, they this time
a picture is worth a thousands bad dreams, not a thousand words.

Dear Tyrant:
... I am not minimizing the crime of murder. (I believe I know
how and why the Germans came to make their fundamental
and important errors. The Israelis and many civilizations
do not know it appears. The all important "psychological"
answer as to how you prevent, by social or government organization,
the deprivation of human rights is not often addressed.
In order to protect rights or "security", it is NOT necessary
that you must take certain ones away. (Occam's razor
might deal with that in a sense) I say that this act of inhibition
lets the thin edge of the wedge of power abuse in the door.
What ran amok in Nazi germany was power unchecked.
This is the evil. No number of statutes that attack the so called
simulacrum of the ideals implemented by an evil government
will prevent such governments from arising. It does not keep it out.
Mistaken thinking is that it is anarchy and some kind of foment
and promotion of bad opinion thus leads to the seizure of abusive power.
The hell-in-the-handbasket theorists believe that a power vacuum
leads to the criminal exploitation of that weakness and the implementation
a kind of slavery. I would compare such theories to the kind of belief evinced
by those who think that violent comic books lead to crime,
that pornography promotes violence against or disresepct
of women. (Howzatt?) The connection is fuzzier than a teddy bear.
I am not...
