Energy is not my expertise, so if she was speaking in code, I'd be baffled. <bg>

The federal government let California exercise extremely poor business acumen, probably to the benefit of ENE, DYN and others. I know Gov Davis singled out ENE's then CEO as being part of the problem of milking the state. California blew it by entering into long term energy contracts at sky-high prices, which has since retreated some 50% or more. Once again a prime example as to why the government, state or otherwise, should not be "intrusted" with making financial decisions or be involved in any deal-making. Politicians are good at B.S. and little else, IMHO. The population of California will be paying for the State's mistakes for years, but then again, what else is new? <g>
