What is Holtz thinking?

Guess he hasn't heard that they aren't gonna let us bring our fireworks, uzzies and cannons in our back packs this time to make noise...security has taken all the fun outta TN football. <g>

Nah...He's thinking it's gonna be a tough game (it is) and he wants to pull out every little nit picky thing he can to keep us from notching a W. The "12th man" at Neyland is pretty awesome. Deafening...not unlike most every home game in the nation I would dare to guess. (Including HIS home turf.)

There are always a few "delay of game" penalties with our visiting teams in Knoxville. HEY...the sound doesn't block out the play clock.

Anyway...will be interesting to see if he actually pulls that nonsense this weekend. Always had respect for him, and have been impressed with what he's accomplished at SC. Let's hope he rises above the petty.

btw...last year, it was Mr. Holtz' complaints about one of our players "playing dirty" (he had not one call against him) that has had this player "being warned" before each game by the refs since. As the player said yesterday "heck, if I went out to intentionally hurt someone, I'd hurt someone"! Big ole 335 lb. teddy bears are so misunderstood. :)

Anyway...
