You're wrong.

Virtually everyone agrees that Clinton undermined the military's effectiveness. Few trust, or ever did, Clinton with national security.

Clinton eliminated military jobs, that much is clear.

(remember it was based on his NOT supporting THEIR war in Vietnam) and in reality he DID streamline the military

The military doesn't start wars, politicians do, the military is stuck fighting them. BTW The military hated Slick because he was a coward and a hypocrite.

CC, Tell that to the platoon leader that couldn't find enough ammo for his troops, the helicopter mechanic that had no spare parts, and the grunts that couldn't get the weapons they needed to defend themselves, if necessary. It's no so much the brass that detested Clinton, it was all the troops from privates on up. Clinton was endangering their lives. Clinton hated the military, and made no bones about it. Those military men that guarded the White House were not allowed to wear the uniforms of their country. Even Chelsea told one of the guards that her daddy hated the military. The only thing Clinton, and Gore did, was eliminate the needs of the military, including troops, and enlarge the welfare rolls. That's the demo/lib way.
