"If the Republican candidates supported the common working man" Why can't the common working man support himself? Is it only republicans that beleive this is possible? "No difference between UAW contributions to political candidates and contributions from the U.S. Machine Tool Association to political candidates" But I thought you said shareholders. Does a business association have shareholders? I don't know for sure, but I would suspect not. "If you don't want to join the union, then find a non-union job down in Mississippi or Alabama, where wages are low and the catfish are jumpin'." I am sure there are other alternatives. This is a good example of the low expectations that unions instill. Hard to argue they don't, when you provide such a beautiful example. There are a lot of things to do to make money in America. Just look around (at some place other than your local union hall).
