From a match-up perspective, VaTech should roll...

it's not with a lot of pride that I write this, but RU has played both teams- and lost both. Got smashed by VaTech and just missed upsetting SU when RU despite going 1 for 5 on field-goals.

Anyway, my point is that RU plays with a true frosh at QB and an awful OL. Despite that, RU was able to produce its best rushing game of the year against SU. VaTech, otoh, totally shut down RU's rushing game. Since VaTech has Kevin Jones among others, I don't really see SU being able to stop the run.

More importantly, who do you guys think will end up being the new Head Coaches at ND and PSU?

Dennis: I'd like to see BC beat ND to help the strength of the Big East Conference.

We were out to dinner tonight and this kid who was a cook at a pizza place came up because we had Tech sweatshirts on. He commented on our weak schedule and then stated that we had a much weaker schedule than Miami and that Miami would beat us.

However, we pointed out that obviously he had not seen the strength of schedule rankings in the latest BCS poll. Miami was ranked about 70+ and Tech was ranked 40+. He said he had no idea that was the case and that he thought Tech's was very high. He had missed the point that we also play all the same conference games; that Miami plays some real patsys like Troy State and some of their hardest games against out of conference opponents like Washington and Florida state are still to come.....

also; against WVU last night on ESPN they really did not look that good, on the scorebaord it was a blowout but WVU was able to move the ball against them and Miami opened the game up late...........any comment would be appreciated.gregor
