<< the real reason america emerged relatively unscathed through the two world wars and europe fell to decline was because we stayed out of the beginning of the wars >>

Nope, not quite. The real reason was that apart from Pearl Harbor and some skirmishes in the Aleutians, the war never came to American soil. Europe was devastated because that's where the (land) war was. Simple as that.

Would you have preferred we wait until the war eventually came to us and we had to start fighting in our own streets? (Never happen, you say? Never is a long, long time...)

<<that's the type of arrogance and hubris which causes empires like ours to crumble. >>

No, you ironic fool, you Tory! That is the pride that has built this country. If it were up to you, we would shrink away from any hint of defending our rare, precious, and fragile freedoms. If you had your way, the US would still be a colony of England. You scared Tory!!

You are very small-minded. This 'empire' as you call it, was built on big, huge dreams, dreams you would never dare to imagine. Dreams and hopes I cannot believe really took solid shape. Dreams our European ancestors could not fathom. And you take it all for granted.

Open your eyes, Craig. get with it. Appreciate it. Revel in it.

There is nowhere else like America. Nowhere. Let's stand up for it. Let's defend it.

But don't worry Craig, I am an American, and I'll defend to my death your 1st Amendment right to spout comically-ironic idiocies.
