JC, I notice you trying to compare Pentium 4 against the Athlon, but I was merely trying to defend it's performance with respect to the Celeron. Yes, I know the Pentium 4 is not the speediest in the race, but saying that the Celeron is faster than the fastest Pentium 4 should be easily refuted with the benchmarks that I showed. Palomino is another issue, and one that a Pentium 4 with SDRAM has little hope of showing respectable scores. Still, the best of breed configurations for both Palomino and Pentium 4 are close, and the minimum configuration for Pentium 4 at least shows respectable scores over Celeron. Intel still has a lot of work to do, but saying Pentium 4 is a dog depends on which Pentium 4 you are comparing, and which other product you are comparing it to.

RE:"WinZip's a good one. I like that, since it's a program I use a lot. :)"

What % of the time you use programs do you use Winzip8?
Yes, it's a good program and I use it...but as a benchmark, I don't know...
