FLEX, SGI: -
FLEX and other contract companies should benefit from outsourcing as large manufacturers scale down their own production capabilities. better to have variable costs from contract mfgers than fixed from own ops.
SGI - sad story, NEC taking big stake in company real cheap it looks like. SGI's main assets seem to be some residual positions in super computers (how important are these with the power of the new intc chips??) and their real estate in silicon valley, that USED to be worth a lot, and someday will be again. good luck. larry
