Well I think your saying the guy had poor discussion skills was inaccurate or not yet established. You more recent post #reply-16565194 was much more accurate. Now all my see over time that really your first post was very accurate. If so I will be impressed by your quick insight.

I would have replied to the guy that he had posted one of the stupidest simplistic rationales I'd seen in a long time. And the guys whining about being attacked frames what the guy really may be. I have a 87.34% likely vacant liberal mind classification so far.

It is part of any manager's job to replace people and get rid of people. Do you think the manager of security at Logan airport should not have been removed? Look at it this way. If a ship runs aground, it is the captain's responsibility and he has to accept that as part of his job. He might have been asleep and the First Mate or whoever was in charge, but it is still his responsibility and he gets the rap for it. National Security was violated when she was in charge of it and she should shoulder the responsibility for that. However, she's still in charge, so I hope she has learned from this experience and will prevent future occurrences.
IMHO, we are in a second cold war. I hope that Bush doesn't trust the Russians and Chinese as much as he appears to. I don't think we should be waging a war on terrorism, but a war on terrorists! They should be treated like soldiers in battle. They are not criminals, they are soldiers. They should be gotten rid of in any we can get rid of them. We shouldn't capture them and put them on trial, we just need to kill them. Any way we can, using clandestine operations whenever possible that the public never even hears about. For every suicide bomber, there are several people willing to support and hide him, but not really willing to die for the cause. We need to kill some of those people too, so that others will think more than twice before helping the fanatical suicidal terrorists. OK, that's enough, I'm off my soapbox for a while.
