Range day... hate 'em...

Me too! I've learned to really back off on these days. Some people thrive on them, imagine that. I remember Linda Bradford Raschke saying you can make a living off one or two good days a month, the rest is just little scalps here and there (was posted on SI somewhere, maybe here). My paper trading has proven this to be true for me. I'm learning how to identify trend days and consolidation days earlier and earlier in the day and it's really helping me know how much to trade that day. I used to not be aware of the difference and trade myself to death on days like today. Although there were some good plays in some biotechs today.
