Isopatch, agreed...The problem here in Canada is that the country is being run in a French style, top down collectivist state that's operated by a bureaucratic administration filled with elitist intellectuals that use coercion, and social engineering that guarantees them an election victory every 5 years. In Canada we live within a dictatorship that masquerades as a democracy. The powerbase is essentially located in the two major cities in Eastern Canada. The city of Toronto which has more political muscle than all the province of Alberta isn't the only issue -- add in the city of Montreal and the fact that the grand majority that operate this dictatoshit are from Quebec. Yes, that same province that's filled with separatist terrorist, and to think, they have a choke hold on national power makes me want to puke with fear -- welcome to the jungle!

In turn these socialists bleed the periphery through a punitive tax system to support the central powerbase with enough cash to subsidize every asinine idea ever thought up. I'd even go so far as to say that more public money has flowed into the Prime Ministers riding or should I say golf course than what as been sent to all of Western Canada combined -- the country cannot be changed without it being dissolved.

...and they care...about us...about medicare...about welfare...about workfare...about golf courses...

Now do you understand why I don't call myself a Canadian? Calling me a Canadian would be like calling me a corrupt French lawyer...

Regards
Frank P.

Iso,

I'm sorry to hear that the same rot seems to be there as here. But then it was hard not to suspect that watching the last 8 years.

Good luck with the fight.
