"..It is amazing at what they accomplish with BS.."

They have a lot of help - just saunter over to the Nokia board....

A big lie can be much more effective than a tiny one.

I was surprised at the prominence of EDGE in the NOK presentation; also the timing: Before WCDMA in the US but not so in Europe. What's up with that? It was funny to watch Jeffrey Belk smirking a couple of times. I haven't seen him before but thought he was quite good.

Near the end was the question about WCDMA vs CDMA2000. It was soooo annoying to listen to the NOK guy promoting WCDMA as a broadband technology, as if a 5 MHz WCDMA channel was superior to a CDMA2000 1.25 MHz channel. I know they have done this many times, but what a bunch of bull$hit; attempting to equate the superiority of wideband Cable-DSL to wideband WCDMA. Hard to have any sympathy for Nokia given their endless lies.

Speaking of peckerheads, how 'bout that Steven Milunovich (chief technology dude for Merrill Lynch) on Louis Rukeyser last night. He said it would be "several years" before the US would see 3G. How come these folks are so stupid?
