Huh? We took over the mantle of Anglo-Saxon imperium when Britain failed financially in the '20's. We were the continuum of the "Great Game" in Asia in the 20th Century, a mirror image of the USSR role as the successor to Imperial Russia's grand expansion.

Communism was just about a phony a conceptual cover for state power in Russia as democracy is in....... you do understand, don't you?

Furthermore, it wasn't "malevolence" that drove the corporations to employ the Marines* in their behalf. Good grief, don't give me some moralistic view of this, it isn't Sunday here yet, ferchrissakes. It was purely (he says ironically) about greed. Today, it is no different.
