Jurgis,

<< I don't understand what the thread elders see in Don's posts. >>

It is not JUST "thread elders" that value Don's posts and I think that is something for you to consider.

Many of us here, sit patiently back and just let people ramble on.

I for one, however, take some offense, when a fellow Gorilla Gamer, and regular contributor to the thread is criticized for posting style or posting content.

<< I have not read TFRM, but if it does really say things referenced in Don's posts, I don't want to read it. It was just crossed out from my shopping list.>>

Maybe you should put it back on.

<< I am guilty of skipping and dismissing Don's posts >>

You are also guilty of not reading the manual. Regular participants here, as a matter of convention generally have.

<< maybe they can also tell me why QCOM as a company is better than KO? Nah, let's skip it... :-(((( >>

Yes let's.

"The Gorilla Game" is devoted to discussions about investing in tech.

Last time I looked KO wasn't a tech.

It's probably a great subject for discussion on the "Buffettology" thread.

<< I would be much more happy to hang out in Buffetology thread. Unfortunately -
and perhaps partially because of my inaction - the thread died ... So I'm an orphan posting on a thread that is only partially related to my interests. That's why
I am inconsistent in criticizing and just lurking. >>

Well, we'd be happy to adopt you, particularly if you would read the manual, stop criticizing, and contribute to the Gorilla Game.

If after you read the manual, you find you find no value in the theory, or have no interest in the game, you might want to attempt to revitalize the "Buffettology" thread, start a new thread, or find another thread so you don't feel orphaned.

Best,

- Eric -

The only way you'll ever find out is to read it yourself. The Cliff notes just don't do it justice.

>> maybe the thread is right, the valuation discussions should be forgotten again and only the pongid genes should be discussed.

I'm pretty sure the thread consensus favored integrating valuation considerations into the vetting process.

>> I would be much more happy to hang out in Buffetology thread.

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping you had grown fond of us.
