This stock crossed 50-200-100 moving average on the up. Is that a good sign? Is there
a TA site that explains why?

John:

The longer the moving average that's crossed suggests the longer duration of a trend... A 100 day MA has twice as many days as a 50 day MA... So, crossing it says there has been a lot of momentum building to get the price there... A steady rise is usually better than a one day spike because you have a developing pattern to work with...

The chart school section of this site is very helpful...
