I think you are soft-pedaling what Paul has been doing by quite a bit. He consistently calls other people stupid directly. He uses what many feel are objectionable names and imagery. He engages in a variety of juvenile name-calling, not all of which is aimed at AMD directly So why don't you ignore him???? Will someone please answer this question???? EP

While the result of the vote was not in Paul's favor, that "stuffing" made it closer than it otherwise might have been. You see, that's a big part of the problem. Nobody is from a thread. The AMD thread belongs as much to me as it does to you, or to anyone. Posting 100 times a week in favor of AMD grants no privileges. Same with the Intel thread, you have as much ownership as I do. There is a clubbyness to this moderated thread that leads some posters to believe that they are a part of a community, and others are not. This is a public place. When this thread permanently bans Paul, there will be one less filter for false information. Not a good thing, if reliable information is your goal. If one sided information is your goal, then go for it. But the whole thread losses value. re: What can I say? You are wrong. Period. It's Paul's need to be a potty mouth that get's him in trouble. Use of such things as "AthWipe" gets real old after it is used 1000 times or so. Boy, we sure are sensitive. I never realized just how genteel and sensitive the AMD folks are. Almost like a ladies tea party. The truth is that Paul repeatedly catches folks in mis-statements. He may not be gentle in his responses, but often he is right. He corrects some false statements, he adds perspective when it is sometimes lacking. The folks here can sacrifice truth under the guise of propriety. Or you can keep it open, and put Paul on ignore if you find him offensive. Your choice... John
