Nadine,

The solution I am talking about would not give the Palestinians nearly what they expect. There are two choices: either Jerusalem is declared an open city guarded by the U.N., or else it goes all to Israel. I personally am totally against the Palestinians controlling any part of that city. It either belongs to Israel or the world - but certainly not to the Palestinians.

I think Jordan should be forced to make sacrifices for the Palestinians also. Part of Jordan should become the territory of this new state.

As for signing a peace deal with Arafat or the PA, I did not say that, either. I agree, they are terrorists, and the Nobel Committee should ever be ashamed it ever awarded that man such an honor. I felt sick when I heard the news in 1994. The PA obviously believes in terrorism as a political weapon. Therefore, I agree, Israel should be given a free hand to wipe out all those who are supporting indiscriminate murder. When that is done, NATO should come in, and there should be a buffer zone that they control. As for the Palestinian State, it should be completely demilitarized, meaning no more than handguns and rifles for the police. If there are any other weapons, then NATO will have the right to come in and go get them.
