Sultan, someone who wants to learn asks questions rather than dish out attacks... some time ago I suggested to Addi that he reads more... and to try to read with an open mind in an attempt to discern truth from purposeful twisted translations... he kept coming back under the pretext of wanting to learn more, yet kept referencing twisted translations and parts of verses taken out of context... then he would add " I beg you to explain" ... I suggest that you do not leave this thread as you had mentioned in a previous post... rather address issues that deserve addressing and ignore the rest... utilize the ignore feature of SI... Thank you Sultan for your comments and explanations. I appreciate that. I sincerely hope I did not cause any offense on my part for which none was intended. Once again thank you for your logical explanations that to some extend may explain matters better to me. Now perhaps you can expalin to me the notion of intolerance that seems to be very strong among Muslims. And we do not have to go to great details (politically or otherwise as why all Islamic states operate under complete dictatorshp and ignorance of free thoughts), as we have a small example of it here with my good friend Amein who has decided to ignore me (and everyone else) simply because he either can not respond to our questions or does not agree with our views. He has created his own thread but has excluded me (and god knows ho many others) from posting in there!! Message 16578541 Seriously, being originally from the Middle East I wonder if the notion of intolerance among Muslims has a cultural root or does it have religious roots? Regards,
