"There has to be much more going on than we are told" one would certainly hope so. and that is how it should be. my god, FOOTBALL teams have closed practices! if the press can understand the need to keep FOOTBALL practices on the down low, why are they so shocked that life-and-death strategic decisions are being kept under wraps? it has always struck me as incredibly stupid that the united states would publicize its war maneuvers, its strategies, its plans. i have never understood how the defense department felt obligated to reveal this sort of information to a group of clamoring journalists. feed them some generalities, by all means.... ... but maintain the secrecy of wartime activities. or provide misinformation for the likes of osama and his buds who are watching it all on TV like the rest of us. tell 'em all we're going to cease bombing during ramadan, give 'em a couple days to think we mean it, then start bombing heavier than ever. all's fair, baby
