Yep, Intel is playing catch up and following in the footsteps of AMD's engineers - again.

First they followed AMD's move to copper, now they're following AMD's move to DDR.

How long until they are forced to follow AMD's lead to SOI and a 64 bit IBM PC compatible chip?

Wouldn't it be cheaper, quicker, and easier to do it right the first time? Like AMD does.

The current GAAP is THE STANDARD.

It's interesting that Intel only earned $106 million last Q, but paid out over $134 million in dividends. And today's drop in market value was equal to eight years of those dividends. Kind of amazing, isn't it?
