If the board granted him only 1 million, do you think he'd quit? Would that be such a bad thing?

The point isn't about whether Chambers is being greedy, it's about whether the board is being responsible.

Two million options may not seem like much when there's a half a billion of 'em deeply underwater. But just a few weeks ago we were discussing the negative impact of dilution. A million options here, a million options there... sooner or later they add up.

Hey, but I'm not an owner & neither are you. So it really shouldn't bug either of us that much. The only folks who should care one way or another are the shareholders. It's their skin, not ours.
