Oh Tom! Puhleeeze! A Dobe is as A Dobe does! I hope it's not "A DOH! bee"

Hey. Anybody out there have Windows XP yet?

PC's are very cheap these days. I finally picked one up for my 12 year old son ('who really needs it for school'). 1.6ghz Pentium 4, 256 meg RAM, 80 gig HD, CD/RW, DVD, Nvidia Gforce2 w32mb SDRAM, 17" monitor, USB's all over the place, etc, etc Also preloaded with XP Home and lot's of other software. He had it up and running in about 30 minutes. And that's because I made him read the directions. It's like Legos for gosh sakes!

Side observation: It cost 1/3 what I paid for my first PC 8 years ago, and is 80X more powerful with 320X more HD to boot. Someone at work told me that thay're almost disposable these days. Observation #2. It also cost $100 more than I paid for my first car!

Simply amazing IMHO.

Regards all. Steve
