Cat, There is something that bothers me about this as well. I think the perps have to be both sophisticated, somewhat broadly structured and well organized. This is why I say this: 1. The anthrax has to be produced and put into the envelopes by experts in a pretty clean environment. Otherwise, there would be a few dead terrorists here and there. 2. Whoever put the envelopes in the mail boxes were probably foot soldiers well trained in handling the product. Otherwise, there would be dead foot soldiers. That they weren't all mailed from New Jersey also suggests more than one person. 3. The envelopes "leaked" anthrax and infected a number of seemingly disparate persons. There has to be a link somewhere like the child that became infected is still a mystery. How did the envelopes leak and not infect the perps? 4. If these people are agents of bin Laden, and willing to become "martyred", why hasn't one or more of them walked into a crowded place like a theatre, shopping mall or stadium and as quietly as possible, scatter anthrax all around? Of course, the perp would also get anthrax as a result, but a bin Laden disciple could accept this. 5. The addressed envelopes of anthrax shown on TV look like they were addressed by an American. I think more than one expert has made this point. These thoughts keep running through my mind. It sounds more and more to me like it is more likely "McVeigh" types, but with more brains, manpower and organization. On the other hand, there could be a few perps, dead from anthrax, hidden somewhere.
