I think it was foolish for Haq to go into Afghanistan with the Taliban in charge. Who approved of this silly mission anyway? It would have been much better for a lower level operative to go in. I read one of your posts with some George Fernandes' quotes praising nuclear stability in Pakistan. He also said that India might have to fight its own anti-terrorist war later! I haven't read the statement about financial support to NA, but then I haven't really followed what is happening in India for some time. I am actually quite disappointed by the long term leadership in India with respect to economic development.
